The handmade Made ring was crafted in Monaco for my then 10-year-old daughter by a semi-retired master goldsmith friend of mine. It was made in 9k yellow gold but created so it looks like 24k Indian gold, which it's not. My spoilt daughter rejected it, as she only likes pink stones , so this lovely, never-worn ring is now for sale. It features a 10 ct emerald-cut commercial-grade Colombian emerald in a four-prong setting. The emerald is surrounded by twelve pear-shaped Madagascan pigeon blood rubies alternating with twelve round brilliant-cut diamonds. The rubies measure 4.0 x 3.0 x 2.0 mm with a total weight of approximately 2.06 ctw. The diamonds are VVS1 in clarity with an estimated total weight of approximately 1.50 ctw. The inside of the ring is stamped (9k Monaco2024) and weighs 7.98 grams. Even though this lovely ring was origonaly for a girl there is No reason why a lady of any age could not wear it, UK Size M.     This is a natural Colombian emerald weighing 10 carats. It originates from the renowned Muzo region in Colombia, an area historically known for producing emeralds since the 1500s. The gemstone is cut into an emerald shape and exhibits a green colour. Muzo green is a colour commonly known in the trade as "Old Mine" and describes a very fine and strongly saturated colour for Colombian emeralds.
